Karl Weinberg has been a fixture on the Southeastern Wisconsin music scene for nearly 40 years. He started thumping bass in a band called Megalon playing metal/prog influenced originals on the east side of Milwaukee in the late 80s and early 90s. Next he migrated to alt pop sounds in bands such as Aluminum Charlie and Spincycle. Through the 2000s Karl explored blues rock with The Bobbleheads and TuDrunc2Fish. Karl returned to Alt/Pop in the 2010s with Hellena Handbasket, The Itch and Crank The Radio. Having survived Covid, Karl found himself in the full-on pop band Block Party. Most recently, he hung up his bass and has been playing guitar and keyboards for the classic rock sound of Premonition.
